The Challenge
A winter windstorm split a large maple, leaving a hanging limb above a fence line and a section of trunk across the lawn. The family needed the area made safe before children could use the yard again.
The Plan
We assessed the tree from a safe distance, confirmed there were no utility lines involved, and planned the order of work to remove the hanging limb first.
The Work
The crew secured and removed the hanging limb, cut the fallen sections, and cleared broken branches from the fence and lawn.
The Result
The yard was cleared and safe to use. We noted the remaining trunk for the owners to review with a qualified arborist before any further decisions.
