The Challenge
An old cedar stump sat in the middle of a planned vegetable garden and made mowing around the edges difficult.
The Plan
We checked access through the side gate, located irrigation lines with the homeowner, and agreed a grinding depth suitable for raised beds.
The Work
The stump was ground below grade with a compact machine. Chips were partly removed and partly left as mulch, as requested.
The Result
The area was leveled and ready for soil and new beds. The homeowner received notes on settling and what to expect from remaining roots.
