How to Prepare Your Property for Tree Work
A few simple steps before the crew arrives can make the day safer, faster, and easier for everyone.

A little preparation goes a long way on the day of tree work. These steps help the crew work safely and protect the parts of your property you care about.
Before the visit
Move cars, outdoor furniture, and planters away from the work area
Unlock gates and share any access instructions
Point out irrigation, lighting, septic systems, or buried services
Let neighbors know if access or noise may affect them
On the day
Keep children and pets inside or away from the work zone. Walk the site with the crew lead so everyone agrees on the scope and the drop zones.
After the work
Join the final walkthrough to review the completed work and cleanup. Ask any questions about follow-up care while the crew is on site.
Safety note
Stay outside the marked work area at all times while the crew is working, even if you need to speak with them. Wave and wait for them to stop first.
